*We return back to school after the break on Monday, April 7th (Day 5).

Paralympics Congratulations!

A big congratulations goes out to all of the Canadian athletes who participated in the 2014 Winter Paralympics in Sochi, Russia.

 

Canada made their mark once again in Sochi, placing third overall for our medal count. 

 

A special congratulations goes out the Canadian curling team, who won gold.  This gave Canada a gold medal hat trick in curling, along side the gold wins from the Canadian men's and women's curling teams one month ago.

We would also like to congratulate the Canadian Sledge Hockey team on their bronze medal win on the weekend.  We enjoyed watching you dominate many of the teams all week long.  We also have made our mark in the sport of hockey, with all three Canadian Hockey teams medalling at the Olympics. 

Our students really enjoyed learning about the Olympics, Paralympics and Sledge Hockey.  They loved cheering on team Canada this winter in the Olympics and Paralympics.
