Today was a busy day.  We reviewed our doubles in math class.  We read "Two of Everything" by Lily Toy Hong.  We also learned a "Doubles Rap" (see below).  Please practice these doubles facts at home, as they need to be in place A.S.A.P.

 We also read the story, "Chrysanthemum" by Kevin Henkes (above).  It is about a girl who loves her name, but after going to school and getting teased about it, she starts to "wilt" on the inside and out.  

After the story we talked about what kind of people we wanted to be and what our beliefs are.
