Today we learned all the ways to make ten.  There are 11 ways to make ten.  We made an adding rainbow to help us remember.  We also learned a song and played the "Totally Ten Snake" game.  Here are some pictures of what we did.

We will be learning a few more songs about making ten and playing, "Go Ten" next week.  These number combinations are so important to master, as they are heavily relied upon, when adding and subtracting larger (2 and 3-digit) numbers.
